I am an American bio-designer, researcher, and set designer collaborating with mycelium, the root-like network of mushrooms. My work blends design, science, and sustainability to prompt reflection on decay, consumption and the value of impermanence. My pieces are functional yet ephemeral, bringing bio-design out of the sterilized lab and into the intimacy of the home. It beckons us to pause and reconsider our material world and witness nature as both sculptor and partner. Mycelium isn’t just a material – it’s a philosophy, one that invites us to imagine a future where design lives and dies with intention.
