My work explores how collected objects can embody and preserve personal memories, experiences, and lived emotions. Through primarily fiber and paper-based mediums, I challenge the divide between craft and fine art by further incorporating more traditional art practices to push the boundaries of what form means in artmaking. By suspending objects in time, I strive to encapsulate their significance while also acknowledging their temporality.

*Future Forward Feature In a world that is so focused on preserving the value of art through its physical existence, I challenge the idea of "archival" through the very nature of my work. As we shift towards a more digital landscape, I aim to shift the attention towards the incomparable value of materiality while also highlighting the beauty of its life cycle and inevitable decay. Although there is great value in the accessibility of digitization and preservation of the arts, my work shows appreciation for the natural life cycle of physical objects and the purpose they serve in our lives while also battling with the idea of mental and physical deterioration.
