Working across sculpture and installation, my practice examines how people try to hold onto things that are inherently unstable. Using materials like vintage glass and decorative finishes, which are tied to fragility and upkeep, I think about how things like memory, time, and relationships are constructed and then maintained. Across different bodies of work, I return to similar questions: What does it mean to hold something together over time? What are the costs of keeping it intact? And at what point does preservation begin to feel like containment?
