Felipe García Salazar (Bogotá, Colombia) is a visual artist, curator, and cultural manager. His artistic practice moves between installation, expanded sculpture, site-specific work, and conceptual thought, exploring themes such as displacement, the symbolic construction of territory, the institutionalized body, and material memory. From a critical and situated perspective, Felipe has developed projects in diverse contexts that combine artistic research and the activation of collective spaces. His work has been exhibited in independent galleries, contemporary art centers, and residency programs in Europe, the United States, and Latin America. He is the Co-Founder of R.A.R.O. Barcelona, actively participating in the international network of itinerant residencies R.A.R.O., founded in Buenos Aires. In this context, Felipe has worked as a residency coordinator, process curator, and hosting workshop facilitator, fostering connections between local and international artists and promoting collaborative practices of artistic production and research. His work also extends to the management of interdisciplinary programs that bridge contemporary art with philosophical thought and pedagogical action. He lives and works in Barcelona.
